He signs up with amazon.com's computer affiliate program and sells amazon computers at $600 each. He gets 150 Hits per day and 1 person buys a computer per day. He might get 6% of 600 which is $36 per day. Thats $36 per day and about $1000 per month. Now if he had a site on flowers and sold an amazon computer most people comming to the site would be looking for flowers not computers. He would probably sell maby 1 or if he is luky 2 computers per MONTH! So you would really want to have most of your affiliates related to your site.

2. If you want people to come to your site and keep coming back it is best to have a lot of content in your site. Once your site is up don't let it just sit there and hope a lot of people will keep comming. You must keep updating and making it better adding new things and mabee change the colors and images. It might be good to make a every day thing were you have a special sale of the day. And people will come every day for that and see other things you have. And also have different affiliates on each page so people don't keep seing the same ones.

3. News. Yes news. News is one of the best ways to get people to your site again. There are sites like Moreover.com where all you have to do is tell them what kind of news you want and they give some code to put on your page. You can pick top stories or Sports, Football or Sports, Basketball, Baseball, Soccer and more. There are also Internet News, US Reginal, Society. You pick the color background you want and what font type and color. You can pick what width you want and how many Headings. There is so much you can do. And after you put the code on your site it automaticly keeps puting new stories on for you. This is deffinetly a feature I recommend.

4. Traffic is deffinetly the best way to make money. Search engines will get lots of your viewers. When you are submiting your site to the search engines you have to give keywords. You want to have as many as possible. When people search, they usually wont go past the first 50 sites so you want to use the keywords that you think people would use in searching for your site. Another way to get traffic is banner exchanges, you add a banner to your site and earn credits for each click or display. Usually for every 1,2 or 3 credits you earn your site will be displayed on another site that is a member with the banner exchange network. Then you just add a few adds and you have your own mint.
