Salmon Mind

Jupiter

There are dark shadows in the water
How do I explain?

These things come and they go
fate and chance unfold in circumstance

All around lies the the world
Too large to grasp (in one mouth)

I thread its flows like a salmon
Blind to meaning I run the shoals

leap the races between the rocks
Lurk in deep pools

Chance and fate wait their turn
I remember the pull of mysterious gravity

beyond my understanding
where I cannot move myself

but only feel the elements
commingled caress my flanks

I leap into the rainbow
and behold its Glory

Salmon Mind
