Jerome, Arizona and Area

The upper two pictures were taken at Jerome as we were traveling home from Yuma.  An old mining town very unique in the fact the town was built on the side of a hill.  Streets cut out of the hillside are narrow, and  finding a place to park your vehicle is trying.  The road from Prescott to Flagstaff has several high mountain ranges to cross.  Because of the steepness, many curves and switchbacks were encountered which made for enjoyable scenery.  The road above takes you over the mountain and into Jerome.  Motorcycles can be seen traveling down the mountain on their way to Prescott.  The road from Prescott to Flagstaff would be a most enjoyable motorcycle ride.  Hopefully we will be able to ride our Goldwing through all of this beautiful country.
