BRISKET

1 envelope onion soup mix
2 cups water
3 to 5 cleaned carrots, cut in half
3 to 5 potatoes, peeled and cut in half (cut into quarters, if very
large)

Combine brisket, soup mix and water, bake at 325 degrees for several hours (at least three hours), until brisket is almost done. Add the carrots and potatoes and more water if needed. Bake another hour or until all is done.
