HONEY GARLIC SAUCE FOR CHICKEN OR PORK

4 pork chops or chicken pieces (preferably de-boned breasts).

Brown your pork chops or chicken. You need a pan that is large enough to hold them all, and has a lid. While that's going on, make the sauce:

1/2 cup chicken broth (canned, homemade, whatever)
1/4 cup honey (the liquid kind, not the Canadian whipped kind)
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 Tbs ketchup
1 clove minced garlic (or more)

Mix this up as best you can (the ketchup is kind of hard to mix in, but don't worry about it). If the broth is warm, it's easier to mix the honey in. Once the meat is browned on both sides, pour the sauce over it and let it simmer for 30 - 45 minutes. Alternatively, you can bake it in the oven at 350 F for about the same length of time. Serve with rice.

Leftover sauce can be refrigerated and keeps quite well. It's even better the second time around.
