Bellhaven
Collie Kennel Diet
Bellhaven
was an extremely successful kennel of show collies, owned by Florence
B. Ilch
in Redbank, NJ. Pictures of Bellhaven dogs still appear in every
collie breed book that has an historical section. All of the many beautiful
Bellhaven champions were raised on the following diet; in it's heyday,
Bellhaven had produced more champions than any other kennel, all breeds
included, in the United States. Hundreds of collies were produced and raised
on this diet at Bellhaven, which closed it's doors in the 1960's.
The diet
was scanned from the diet sheet I received with the purchase of my first
puppy, in the late 1960's, from the last litter bred at Bellhaven.
