Azarte was in a pet home, where he developed food allergies on a commercial diet.  He was  on antibiotics and steroids, with no success, and was extremely thin, with a coat like a worn-out brillo pad. He came home to Valeska, was taken off all medication and put on a raw diet. The results are apparent below. He lived here for over 3 years with no medication and no symptoms of allergies, and gained 12 pounds.We looked for a raw-feeding home for him for a little over 3 years
before finding the right one. In the meantime he acted as a talented puppy-sitter and patient but firm teacher of puppy manners to our youngsters.  He loved his job and  it was thrilling to watch him with the puppies. Now he's taken up residence as a full-time housedog and companion with the Mattsons, along with his Aunt Velika.
