   To Whom It May Concern:--

     The above pedigree of the Russian Wolfhound the late American Champion Marksman, and of the Russian Wolfhound bitch the English Champion Tsaritsa, was given to the undersigned in August, 1903, by M. Artem Boldareff, of Tamboff, Russia. It appears that General Boldareff, uncle of M. Artem Boldareff, sold the litter of which Marksman and Tsaritsa were members to Count Stroganoff, and he in turn exported the above dogs to England, at the time no pedigree being sent.
