Ruffian's career was cut short by an accident, like her namesake; also like her, our Ruffian left no children behind. But she did live a full lifespan, and despite her injury she was abled to course many rabbits, as well as deer and coyotes. Her exquisite face bore the scars of these encounters, and those were the best times in her life, along with being with baby puppies. She was a superb babysitter.
I always called her one of the Seven Wonders of the World, she was so, so beautiful, inside and out.
