At the Westminster Kennel Club Show in Madison Square Garden, New York, 1905, the Valley Farm Russian Wolfhounds won:
Twelve Firsts of a possible thirteen.
Twelve seconds of a possible thirteen.
Nine thirds of a possible eleven.
Thirteen specials, medals and cups, of a possible fifteen.
And the mast desired honor of all the Team Prize, judged by Mr. Raper for the best four dogs of any breed, twelve teams of the most famous in the world competing.
At New York 1906-The greatest show ever held on this or any other continent the Valley Farm Wolfhounds occupied one side of an entire aisle. Twentyone hounds were benched of which seventeen were bred at Valley Farm. The size and quality of the exhibit and the fact that the individual exhibits were almost all home bred stamps the display as the most remarkable ever put on the show bench. The wolfhound entry was the largest of all the large breeds. Prizes fell to Valley Faarm Kennels as follows:
Every first.
Every second but four.
Every third but two.
Every possible special.
The Rutherford Cup for the best brace of puppies, any breed, bred
in U.S. or Canada.
